Originally set up with just
one home in 1985 with the purchase of Clemsfold House, the
aim was to provide a Residential Care Home which offered a
safe, comfortable
environment with full support to all our residents.
The group now provides over 500 beds and is a leading provider
of residential and nursing care in the Sussex area with 16
homes offering a range of services focused chiefly on care
for older people (including people who are mentally frail
with dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease) and on specialist
care for adults with physical or learning difficulties (including
people with neurological disabilities).
The group has firmly established itself in the business
by winning many awards, including the Liang & Buisson
for bestMedial Practice and an award by the Learning and Skills
Council as the company with the best training programme for
its staff.
There are exciting developments planned for the group, including
a Diagnostic and Treatment Centre at Woodhurst and a Sussex
Health Care Academy at Brooks Lodge.
